Lisa Stilwell
Greetings!
I’m Lisa, and I am a twenty-eight-year veteran in Christian publishing. My background as Sr. Acquisitions Editor includes seven years at Multnomah (Waterbrook/Random House), ten years at Thomas Nelson (Harper Collins), two years at Howard (Simon & Schuster), and nine years as owner of Loadstone Literary. I am currently a proud member of Reedsy, a network of world-class publishing professionals based in the U.K. who help authors self-publish with great success.
I’ve worked with top selling authors and pastors such as Helen Smallbone (mother of Joel and Luke, lead singers of For King & Country), Tim and Kathy Bush of WarRoom Ministries, Max Lucado, Sarah Young, Charles Stanley, Billy Graham, David Jeremiah, Lee Strobel, Hank Hanegraaff, and many others. I’ve also worked with artists such as Josh Turner, Matthew West, and Steven Curtis Chapman, among others.
I am creator of The Heavens Proclaim His Glory, a beautiful compilation of images taken by Hubble telescope paired with inspirational excerpts and quotes. I am also author of 100 Days of Faith over Fear and Daily Prayers for Grieving Hearts both published by DaySpring which is now part of Harper Collins.
I specialize in ghostwriting memoirs and devotionals as well as turning trade book material into gift book prose and Bible studies. I also edit, copyedit, and proofread for publishing houses as well as consult authors who want to self-publish.
The process is a joy, as I love helping others reach their dream of writing their stories and leaving a legacy for others.
